Hello,             

     I'm Jacqueline and I have been in the hair business for over twenty years.  I have come full circle and I am right where I began.  You know how things change, styles change, and yet they stay the same.  When I started out as a hair stylist, I was doing what was "in" style at that time for most people, which was the "Jheri Curl".  Remember that? although there are some of us that still prefer the low maintenance, cost effectiveness and curl of that look.  We had just moved out of the "natural" era, although some were still adorning their afros, braids, cornrows etc...  Before attending beauty school I wore the "natural" styles.  Here is where I had to put the relaxer in my hair in order for my education to progress).  You see, at a certain stage in beauty school we had to work on each other.  Because my hair was (highly textured &  full of volume) there was a problem for anyone to be able to style my hair so I made it comfortable for them and got a relaxer.  After graduating beauty school I continued practicing on chemically treated hair, and  I cut off all the relaxer in my hair and got a California Curl.  When those went out of style for most people I continued with straight hair styling.  I find the chemical treatments are harsh and damaging. So I'm back where I started, I prefer my natural hair. 

I prefer the look, feel, health, beauty and all around personal satisfaction of natural hair care and hair styling. 

Over the years I have come to realize that my profession is more than just hair styling it is ministry.  I love it when I can help someone to become aware of themselves through the treatments, the services and the ambiance of my home based salon .  We costomize hair care that will address your uniqueness as well as your individual need.  Each visit to the salon is a guaranteed journey to your "Indigenous Beauty" with the "Concept" of optimum care and satisfaction
